University of the Punjab was established in 1882 and it started function for the provision of quality of education to the students at the undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate level. This university has the great honor that it has the great laurels like Dr Abdul Salam and various other prominent scholars associated with it.
This university has also huge number PhD scholar, who completed their doctorate from Punjab University and they served their teachings at this university. Punjab University has number of colleges and institutes, which are associated with and they are busy in impart of education in different field like sciences, arts, culture, management, history, philosophy, law, fine arts and many more. The students get admission in its affiliated departments and schools and complete their education in the most learned atmosphere.
University of the Punjab has established its campuses, in which some campuses are functioning in Jhelum, Khanspur and Gujranwala and a campus in Kasur is under construction, which will start functioning very soon. These campuses are helping the students to get their higher level of education being living in their own homes or in their cities and they do not have to face financial problems through these campuses. PU has 13 faculties, 63 academic departments, research centers and institutes, which are functioning for the provision of quality education to the students. HEC has declared it the first university in 2012, which is affiliated with it.
Punjab University Conducts the annual and supply exams at the graduate level including BA, BSc, B.Com, B.Ed, BCS and other graduate courses. When the exams department decides to conduct the annual and supply exams, then the admission forms of the eligible candidates are demanded to be submitted within the stipulated period. Then PU Exams Department prepares the date sheet and the roll number slips of the students and send it to the students, so that they can appear in the annual or supply exams. it is said that the annual exams of BA, BSc, B.Com, BBA, BCS and other bachelor degree programs will be started in March and April 2024, for which application forms for admission are being received.
Exams department of Punjab University will issue necessary date sheet and roll number slips to the candidates one month in advance enabling them to appear in the annual exams of graduate classes. Similarly, University of the Punjab will also start the admission process to appear in the annual exams of MA, MSc, MCS, M.Com, MBA and other postgraduate courses. When the process of receiving the admission forms will be completed, then the date sheets of the postgraduate programs will be prepared and send to the students on their home addresses along with their roll number slips.
The annual exams of postgraduate disciplines will be held in June or July and the roll number slips with date sheets will be sent to the students during May or June. If they do not receive the roll number slips, then they will have to make contact with the exams to get the duplicate one. The candidates can get the latest and fresh date sheet of the annual or supply exams of graduate, postgraduate courses from the website www.pu.edu.pk with complete information and for the convenience of the students.
